12 Minute Salmon Dinner

Updated: Mar 19, 2021

My easy go to week night dinner when I don't have time or energy to cook.

When I first started getting into health and wellness I went ALL out for dinners taking an hour + to cook, using allll the ingredients, spending wayyy to much money. I got burnt out on that real quick.

Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be all out, expensive or boring! Now I make my dinners as easy and quick as possible. Health can really be easy if we make it.

I love using salmon to mix up my dinners at home from the normal chicken or Turkey dinners. Its nourishing, full or healthy fats and vitamins an minerals and tastes amazing! This dinner takes only 12 minutes to make. I usually add some carbs and veggies to the meal also and whip them up in the instant pot so they cook quickly too. Minimal clean up and minimal cooking time, thats the way we like it!!

If you don't like your salmon cooked through, lessen the time on this and only bake at 400 degrees. If you want less seasoning, just use less. The best thing about the meal is that its completely customizable. I use different seasoning each time.

Some of my favorite combos for seasoning are:

  1. salt & pepper

  2. trader joes chili lime seasoning and lime juice

  3. red pepper flakes + garlic power, onion powder, sesame seeds and liquid amino acids

  4. nutritional yeast with avocado oil and salt and pepper

  5. everything but the bagel seasoning

  6. lemon juice and salt

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. salmon (wild caught)

your favorite seasoning

sides of choice

DIRECTIONS:

Season salmon with your favorite seasoning and some avocado oil.

Bake for 10-12 minutes at 425.
